Garrett Schumann is a composer, music scholar, and writer based in Ypsilanti, MI. Garrett's original music research and writing has appeared in The New York Times and Grove Music Online, among other publications, and his compositions have been programmed at venues around the world. Garrett teaches a variety of music courses at the University of Michigan.
